HERO

Good morning! Today I am sharing a layout I created for a sketch challenge at Let's Get Sketchy. You can find all the information here.

My layout features my son, Justin's corneal transplant. I know I said previously that it was my last layout of Justin's surgery, but I had one more photo that I wanted to scrap. Justin had photos taken during his surgery because the local newspaper wanted to do an article on Justin's journey. Justin is actually being interviewed today, so the article should come out shortly. The last photo I wanted to include was rather graphic, so I created a pocket to slip the photo into. The photo can be seen by pulling out the "STRONG" tab. I used a photo that I previously scrapped which is of a smiling Justin with the transplant complete! You can tell in this photo that Justin's right side of his face is frozen, but he is smiling!

Poolside!

I have another summer time layout to share today! Once again staring my adorable Grandson!
For this layout I used the Boys Rule Scrapbook Kits - Sketch Challenge Time that you can find here.

For this layout, I used Echo Park Paper - For the record 2 (background paper), Orange AC Cardstock, and the patterned cardstock are My Mind's Eye - Boy Crazy - Ready set go.

Adorable Little Man

Summer Fun!

Today's post is for two challenges for Scrapmuch?, the first challenge is for the Kit Club Tuesday - Challenge Time for the July Kit. The challenge is 'Petite Pics'!  To show fun and creative ways to use at least 2 smaller sized photos. You can find the challenge here.

And here is my layout using Petie Pics! I take a tonne of pictures, so this challenge was easy for me. On Canada Day I took 190 pictures....mainly of my Grandsons! LOL

I used the photos that I took using the Colour Accent feature on my camera. So the grey is in my photos!
